Brittany has ordered me to update Elder Fishers blog here tonight before we get his next email tomorrow. Guess I need her here to keep this updated.
Even though our last email was very very small, we do have some things to report.
He says that there are so many people in his area that the noise level is very high, "I can't even hear myself think."
"I am trying to eat more healthy" he is asking us to send healthy cheap ways to eat. There is a good idea for all those sending a letter. Always add a new healthy recipe for him to try.
Elder Fisher wants everyone to know that it is very good to hear from all that send letters. He really appreciates hearing from home.
"We have been doing lots of traveling, running out of time."
That is where he ended it.

Chocolate is really cheap here!!
The letter we got:
I've got a nasty canker sore. We had a lot of lessons. We taught a lady named Irene on Saturday and it was a really good lesson. We've been trying to set up an appointment with a guy we met on the street named Nana. He's really cool but he's always busy. There are so many other awesome people that we've met that we're trying to get a hold of. We are always busy. We hardly even have time to think. It's all good though. Makes the days go faster. I wouldn't mind a nap though. Izzy's baptism last week was wonderful. Her dad was there and he is such a nice guy.He is a non-member but he's really happy for her. He even got up to talk in front of everyone there and he got all emotional. Good man. Chocolate is really cheap here.
The email we got this morning:
It's really good to hear from you guys. I hope Kaitlyn's okay. It's too bad I have to miss thanks giving with you guys. Things here are looking pretty good. It's starting to get cold out but that's okay. Can't wait for the mail from everyone. We are trying to get members involved over here but we are having a hard time. There are some people who are pretty good for it. Sorry I haven't been sending any pictures lately, the computers at the library have been updated and the new ones don't have a memory card impute. So now I once more need a USB cord for my camera. I haven't really been taking lots of pictures anyway. We finally got Alex to the addiction recovery program and he really enjoyed it. We are getting haircuts from him today. Oh I got the letters from Mum and Dad just on the tenth. Love the magnet. It's on my fridge.
The email Brittany got:
GO ON A MISSION! You will NOT regret it. GO AS SOON AS YOU CAN! It's a scary decision to make but you will be so glad you did even within the first week. Missionary work is not what I expected it to be. I KNOW you will love it. If you hurry you might even get back before I do! (I think...) And I would love to receive letters from you. There is nothing better than getting a letter. I'm so glad you are having a good time.

Thinking of Christmas?
Hello every person reading, how are the things in home town proceeding? I have something to bring to your attention. If you want to send me a package apparently you have to send it through the mission office.(Just encase you were planning on sending me something nice...) You can still send letters to my flat address though.
This week didn't go very well. We had so many appointments cancelled. But that's OK, we'll have a better week this week.

Brittany Go On a Mission!
Hello once again. Thank you for everyones advice and support.
We invite Alex the barber to addiction recovery program every week but he can't ever make it. We visit him often in his shop but we can never seem to set up a proper appointment with him so progress with him is slow.
Glad to hear Justin's talk went so well. He will make a grate missionary. Tell Brittany I will be very mad if she doesn't go on a mission. I very much enjoy emails from you because I can get up to date news from home. And it's easier to reply. But I also love getting letters.
The lessons are going well. We've mostly taught the restoration of course because it's the first lesson and for some people we've had to teach it twice. The language was never a problem. I guess I've watched enough TopGear to be used to it. I love a good story as well. Unfortunately I don't really have any cool stories I can tell you yet. We've mostly been doing a lot of finding and teaching. And I'm bad at telling stories. Yesterday we taught an amazing family who are really nice and polite. We are hoping to meet with them again some time next week. We met the father just as he was walking into his house and really quickly set up an appointment and wen we went yesterday we found out he told his whole family to cancel their plans and join us. They even fed us! Unbelievable because we usually get flogged all the time. These last two weeks have been bad for that.
I haven't really heard from Britt at all. What's her email? Tell her she needs to go on a mission. If she hurries, she could even get back before me! Oh by the way, I got yours and Justin's letters yesterday. Take care of Justin for me

Baptism
Things are actually going very well. We had lots of lessons this week and I'm starting to get the hang of being social. I don't keep a journal. I've actually brought one with intentions to start writing in it but it's hard. I'll try to tell you more about my experiences.
Izzys dad came to her baptism and also her confirmation yesterday and he's not a member. He is a really nice guy. Her mom is more active now.
Alex's birthday was this week and we made him brownies. He's still struggling with his addictions but I think he's doing better.
I'll try writing you guys a letter today. Justin is a beast. I don't know how you do it Justin.
Love talking to you! (would be nice if he loved talking just a little bit more)

FUFU FOR DINNER
Hi family! I'm not dead yet! I can't wait until I get your letters. I'll probably get them soon. Feel free to send some jerky, or a nice root beer (don't worry I'm not starving). We had fufu last Saturday at a member's house. It's a south African food we had to eat it with our hands. I wouldn't suggest serving it at mocha cabanas. It's sort of like mashed potatoes but really thick like a dough. It's not to bad at first but after a wile you can't swallow any more without gagging. But it didn't taste awful. I have pictures of me and the other missionaries eating some but i forgot my camera today so no pictures this week. I'll be sure to send the pictures next week. Does Baxter miss me? My allergies has been bugging me lately. There is no way any John Wayne movie could be better than The Good The Bad And The Ugly. Ask Justin; he'll tell you. We are trying to find ways to get the ward involved in missionary work. We have some members that are really good (The Tucker family is grate) but we need the whole ward to get involved. Missionary work is not just giving away pass along cards. That's actually rather ineffective. I think church activities might be a very good way to do missionary work. I haven't received your letters yet but I imagine I will soon if you sent them directly to my flat (Flat3, Elgin Court, 12 Bramley Hill, South Croydon, Surrey CR2 6LY) rather than the mission office. I will wright a letter eventually and send it your way.
We will post 1 picture that Elder Fisher's Mission Persident sent to Mom and Dad. This is of his mission President the presidents wife and Elder Fishers companion. This is a picture of a picture.
We will post any picture that Elder Fisher sends next week

Debit card solved
After his last weeks e-mail both Alysa and Mike were at the bank. Don't know if it was the bank or what but things are solved. He wrote: "ya i'm ok, i just wanted to buy a new bag, i got money from my card the next day so there's no problem."
Then he sent some pictures to go along with the note. First

This weeks email came in "I'm still
alive. I got your
letters at zone training on the third of September.
I love
them. If you want to send me more it's
probably best if you send it
to my flat. the address is: The
Resident, Flat3, Elgin Court, 12 Bramley Hill,
South
Croydon, Surrey CR2 6LY. I will maybe send you guys
letters some time. I
lied about Izzys age. She's 9 and she's
very exited to be baptised. Alex is
awesome. He gave me
and my companion awesome hair cuts. We are planning on
going to the churches addiction recovery program with him
some time. Daren is a
14 year old who is not a member but
he goes to early morning seminary. we are
working with him
but I think his uncle and aunt (whom he lives with) are
hesitant about the church. We are trying to befriend
them. We are always
busy as missionaries. Last Sunday I
gave a talk in church. I didn't have much
time to wright it so
half of it was said on the spot. It went surprisingly
well. Love
hearing from you guys. I'm running out of time for emailing.
off is the library where he writes these wonderful e-mails:
